Thomas Dorfman, known as Tommy D in the nightclub industry, and his company, Juice Entertainment, have been engaged in a 14-year legal battle against Live Nation. The case stems from allegations that Live Nation sabotaged their EDM festival and violated a decade-long contract signed in 2011 with the State Fair Meadowlands. This agreement was intended to produce the largest EDM festival on the East Coast, along with exclusive concerts at the region’s largest fair, which draws over 500,000 attendees over four weeks. The event was set to take place at the newly built, $2 billion Meadowlands Stadium, home to the Jets and Giants.

This platform has been created for independent promoters, artists, agents, industry professionals, fans, and taxpayers—particularly those who fund publicly supported venues that we contend are being exploited by Live Nation. Our goal is to expose Live Nation’s practices. All information shared on this site will remain confidential, and users can participate anonymously on our message board. This is a space for individuals to share information and collaborate in holding Live Nation accountable. We recognize that many artists and promoters fear speaking out due to potential career repercussions, making it difficult for the truth to come to light. This platform provides a safe, anonymous outlet for individuals to expose the company’s misconduct.

Tommy D and Juice Entertainment fully support the Department of Justice’s decision to break up Live Nation and Ticketmaster. Tommy D was one of the first victims of the 2010 merger, which led to the destruction of his festival at the State Fair Meadowlands. However, we believe that simply breaking up Live Nation and Ticketmaster does not go far enough. Dr. Richard Barnett, a leading expert in the entertainment industry, has provided key testimony confirming the damage done to Tommy D’s business. According to Dr. Barnett—whose work is used in academic courses—I allege Live Nation operates as a money-laundering machine. We are seeking assistance from others to expose their practices.

We demand that Live Nation be shut down permanently. Additionally, we are calling for legislation at both the state and federal levels to dismantle Live Nation’s monopoly. Juice Entertainment advocates for the passage of the Truth, Transparency, and Integrity Act to hold this corporation accountable. Together, we can bring this powerful company to justice.
